Hola PDF

Terms of use

Updated 6 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Pablo Miranda, who runs Hola PDF on the web (holapdf.app) from Quito, Ecuador. By using the site you accept them. The privacy policy explains what is kept about you. Questions: support@pablin.me.

1. The service

Hola PDF is a set of PDF tools that runs in your browser: it opens, changes and exports documents on your device. There are no accounts. The free version and Hola PDF Pro work the same way; Pro adds tools and removes limits. Tools and features change and grow over time.

2. Your documents

Your documents are yours. They are processed on your device and never sent to us, so we can't see, keep or recover them: keep your own copies. You are responsible for having the right to change the documents you open, and for what you do with the results.

3. Hola PDF Pro and payment

4. Refunds

30 days: if Hola PDF Pro isn't for you, ask for a full refund within 30 days of buying it, by writing to support@pablin.me or through Paddle, which sends your receipt. Once it is refunded, the licence can no longer be activated.

After 30 days, purchases are not refunded.

Nothing here limits your rights under the law where you live. Consumers in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content; the 30 days above include it.

The refund policy also has its own page.

5. Using Hola PDF fairly

Don't get around the limits of the free version or the licence check, resell access to Pro, or interfere with the site's working or security.

6. What belongs to whom

Hola PDF's software and design are ours. It includes open-source components, used under their own licences, which those licences keep free for you.

7. Availability

We work to keep Hola PDF running and correct, but it is provided as it is, and it may sometimes be unavailable, change or have mistakes. Check important documents after changing them, and write to us about any mistake you find.

8. If Hola PDF ends

If we ever close holapdf.app, we will say so on the site at least 30 days before. A copy already installed in your browser keeps working offline, and a Pro licence keeps unlocking it there, since the browser checks the licence itself.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost or damaged documents, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears here with its date.
